We start out on this earth, taking in our first breath at birth, and at some point in time unknown to us, we take our last. Whether it is today, next year, or 50 years from now, it is going to happen and we’re not getting out of it. Death, as we know it, occurs for every person on this planet. We are all going to win the prize in the end. No matter who you are, or think you are, rich or poor, black or white, and everything in between, we are all equal in the game of life, and when that last breath leaves your lungs, death has arrived. Game Over! Congratulations! You won the prize! What prize? One may think to themselves, “Really that’s it!? I thought there was more to this life! What happened? Where did all those days and years go? I was still trying to find out what the meaning of life was and life ran out! Now what? Was it all for nothing?”
What did you expect your life was going to be?
Our life on earth is for something, and the Creator of all this dirt, water, and oxygen has a plan. Is it your plan? No, it is the Creator’s plan, and He has a great vision in store for us all. No wonder we don’t have all of the answers, we have so much to learn if we care to listen. Are you listening?
How has your plan for this life been going so far? Have you figured out all the answers?
Turns out, your life has everything to do with your death and your death has everything to do with your life. Confusing? When you learn the Truth, everything starts making sense of what the Creator/God has given to us for our learning. The Creator/God is the source of all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding and is willing to share with us. God had His instructions written down for our benefit. Have you ever noticed how much easier it is to do something when you have an instruction manual compared to when you do not have one? God gave us an instruction/owner’s manual explaining how we are supposed to live on this earth. The owner’s manual of life! Have you ever looked inside? It would be great to understand the meaning of life and death, wouldn’t it? God’s vision is in place and proceeding according to His plan and it is so much bigger than we could ever imagine! You can learn what the meaning of life and death is and what God has planned for you.

Bible passage: Proverbs Chapter 30, Verse 4 “Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name and what is the name of His son? Surely you know!”
Do You Know? Why does it matter? There are so many gods and religions, who is the right one? Why am I here? What is my role in a world so full of pain, destruction, and suffering? What prize will you get at death? Have you ever been in a race? What is given to the winner/loser?
So, If you died today, are you content with how your life has turned out and do you have all of the answers about your existence here on earth? Would you like to have known why you were here and what it was all for? You can do something now before your last and final breath exits your lungs! The One who created all things would like you to know His plan for you! You can learn the truth!
Do you know God’s plan for you? Everlasting life is only available to you while you are still alive. Once you die, what else can you accomplish on earth? Nothing. “I am the way, the truth, and the life: The only way to the Father is through me”(1). The Almighty God has a plan that is only available through one person, The Son of God, Jesus Christ, Yeshua, The Savior of the world. That is you, me, and everyone else on this planet who has to go through Jesus Christ for salvation to get life now and in the future. Speaking of the future; there are great things in store for those who follow after God’s Son. No man knows how great our lives will be for all eternity (2). The God of all gods, the Creator of all things seen and unseen wants you to be a part of His plan and you can make a choice. We have free will. God wants us to choose His way, the way He knows is the best for us. The thing is, it is up to us to find out what He requires of us during this life.
Do you know who God is? God challenges the reader in Proverbs 30:4 to find out His name and His son’s name. He has a name and it is above all other gods. Hint: His name is not God; and He is the Almighty God in whom there is no other. In the Holy Scriptures, His Name is mentioned in one account as He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He was not known to them as YHWH until he made His name known to them (3). Now, we can reference the Holy Scriptures to discover and learn His name. Pretty cool to know God by His name and not in a general reference as you knew before this time right now! Amazing what you can learn when you put forth your effort into finding out what is true and what is good and what is not good? Jesus tells us to seek and we shall find (4). There is a reason he does so. He wants you to put in the effort/work to find out his Father’s plan. When you read it, it is now registered in your heart and mind, something that you have proven (5). YHWH is good. Good things come to those who call upon the name of the Lord and seek Him (6) through His son, Yeshua/ Jesus The Christ (our mediator).
Why are we here? The whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments (7).
You may think that sounds heavy. It is and it is not, depending on what you would do for good.
YHWH’s commands are not burdensome (8). They are not heavy to those who seek their God and know Him. He makes known to those who seek Him out, the secrets of life and death. Choose life! (9)
What prize will you get at death? Run the race that is set before you so that you can live! (10)
All men will receive a reward (prize) at death because after you are dead you cannot do any more in this life. Your life is now over and all you can do at that point is sleep until you are resurrected to life or death. All will be resurrected, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting contempt. What do you want, life or death? The choices are yours to make today. Choose life, it will be time very well spent! The Creator wants everyone to repent and be saved from the things that are wrong in their lives that lead to death. (11) If you were able to get a hold of the keys that could open a door to life and a door to death, what would you choose? The thing is, the keys to life are available to you today, right now, made possible through Jesus the anointed Christ! Study to show yourself approved, a workman who is not ashamed. (12)
It is up to you. No one is going to make you do something you do not want to do. It is your choice. The simplicity of it is this: The Almighty God, who created all things, including you, has given you a way to get everlasting life and it is only available through His son Jesus Christ, the savior of us all. (13) Right now you may not be too concerned about everlasting life. If not now, then when will you be? Don’t miss out on the best investment you can ever make in your lifetime. Choose life, and Say Yes to Life!
Almighty God, YHWH, promises everlasting life to us through His son Jesus. No other god can make this promise and YHWH never breaks promises! (14)
Praise and glory and honor be unto Almighty God YHWH who sits on the throne in the highest!
Praise and glory and honor be unto The Christ, Jesus/Yeshua, His son that sits at His right hand!
