Almighty God has been keeping a record. It is a book of names, a detailed list of all those who are to receive eternal life. Many books have been written about God's word, and many scholars have analyzed the Bible, but the Book of Life is the most important book. The book of life is not a physical book. Those people whose names are found written in the book of life will live forever. Actions committed by each individual are recorded; these will be brought into remembrance and used at a final judgment day. Everyone who has lived will be judged according to what is recorded in “the books.” Having your name written in the book of life ensures your entrance into Almighty God's righteous kingdom.
The Book of Life
Exodus 32:31-33 Moses knew of the existence of Jehovah's book of life, and realized a person's name could be removed (blotted out) from it.
Psalms 69:27-28 It is important to remain faithful to the one true God. Not doing so could result in one's name being removed from God's book of life.
Daniel 12:1-2 All of the dead will be raised for judgment, and some of them will receive everlasting life.
Malachi 3:16-18 Those who fear Almighty God Jehovah, calling on His name and serving Him, will be found written in the book of remembrance.
Revelation 13:4-9 A person whose name is not in the book of life will serve the beast.
Revelation 20:11-15 Many books are opened, one of them being the Book of Life. The dead are judged according to their works. Those not found written in the Book of Life will be thrown into the lake of fire.

In 3;3 we see the kingdom of God we do not actually enter but our eyes are open to the reality of God an jesus, in 3;6 as we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives and start changing we ENTER his Kingdom. asthe fulfilment of Know Jesus and The Father and Holy Spirit

Re: RayBernie Kern, Administratoranybody know where I can find the book of life , need it to find some answer and belongs to me if any one would be so kind point me in right way — Guest UserThe Book of Life belongs to the Lamb (Jesus Christ). Our job is to obey him by lisening and doing the words he teaches in the Bible. Through obedience and the desire to be a follower of Christ we get our names written in the Book of Life. See the above study on Book of Life. 48. RayGuest User, Unregisteredif anyone has a answer for me you can email me at

Re: ladyBernie Kern, AdministratorI believe Jesus died for my sins and I believe the word is the only truth but some time the wording confuses me I know that I need to understand. — Guest UserGreat comment. The only way to learn of Jesus's word is to have this kind of attitude. Now we just need to act on it. Be humble, change, pray, and study. Christ said "...Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Re: Metaphor of the Book of LifeGuest User, UnregisteredThe "Book of Life" referred to in both the Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament is a METAPHOR which symbolically refers to those who have aligned their lives with the values of God's Kingdom and who therefore will share in everlasting life. There is no LITERAL book of life stored on some "heavenly book shelf." The only book of life that literally exists which Jewish and Christian persons should be concerned about is the Judeo-Christian scriptures. Further, the question that we should be concerned about is, "do we 'find' ourselves in this book or not?" In other words, do we "find" ourselves identified with one of the many scriptural characters who God reaches out to with saving grace throughout salvation history or not?
43. More 2 Cents WorthGuest User, UnregisteredOr even if the verses mentioning the Book of Life are interpreted as the "Book" and "Lamb's Book" being the same...in that case, it's also clear that people who do in fact receive salvation are never blotted out, only those who never received it.
You could counter argue in this case that everyone had it to begin with, but this is clearly not the case, as that would mean the whole human race was saved and justified...and if ALL who are justified are also glorified, it cannot be this way, since we know that the whole human race is definitely not saved.
Either way, in no cases where the Book of Life or Lamb's Book of Life are mentioned does it imply a loss of salvation. And Thank God for this that it is 100% His work and not ours.
